Dear Miller Creek Families,
Welcome to the 2014-15 school year. It is our pleasure to welcome back both returning and new students to Miller Creek. We missed our panthers and look forward to seeing hallways packed with students and hearing their excited voices in the air.
This year is Miller Creek’s 50th year. As we carry on in our tradition of excellence, we renew our commitment to prepare students for academic success, as well as creating a community where students feel connected and valued.
Middle school is an exciting time, filled with learning and change. We know that home-school communication is essential, so you will receive a weekly Panther Press that has important dates to put on your calendar and other information to help you stay connected to our community. Other ways to stay informed are: the Daily Student Bulletin for learning about campus life; SchoolLoop for grading and assignment updates; our webpage that houses the school activity calendar; and follow us on Twitter @millercreeklife.
We love this time of year-- staff and families are filled with excitement and anticipation and we are all energized about the possibilities of what will be accomplished this year together. Minds will be stretched, friendships will be formed and memories will be made that last a lifetime.
Let’s have a great year! Go Panthers!
