I am looking forward to a fantastic year at Miller Creek. This is my third year teaching at MCMS and my tenth year in education, having taught grades K-6th. I think middle schoolers are truly the best!!! Get ready to have fun while learning.
I grew up in San Rafael and knew in high school that I wanted to be a teacher. After graduating from CSU Chico with my multiple subject degree and credential, I moved back to breath-taking Marin County. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work in the community that helped raise me. In 2012, I completed my masters in Educational Leadership through SFSU and truly enjoy connecting with other educators.
Volunteer work keeps me inspired in the summertime and throughout the school year. I just returned from an annual trip to Mexico, volunteering at Casa de la Esperanza orphanage. I spent my time loving, engaging and laughing with children, beautifying their campus, and brushing up on my Spanish skills. I think it is so important to reach out to others and show them love.
Let's rock this school year, graduating class of 2019!!! :)
If you are willing and able to donate, there are a few supplies that we need in class. Much thanks! :)
