Track and Field News:

Track & Field

4x100 relay practice @ the track @ lunch, today Wednesday 3/29.  Come out to learn about the event with your team  or if you would like to be on a team.

Teams are made up of 4 runners, each running 100 meters.  Top 2 teams with fastest times from each classification (boys & girls-A, B, C, & D) will qualify for the Area Meet @ TLHS 4/28 4-7:30 pm.

Tech Trek News:

We are proud to announce that 3 of our 5 7th grade girl competitors have been chosen by the AAUW Team for the  Tech Trek Camp at Stanford this summer. They are: Sophia Koop, Adama Bhonapha and Katie Kurth. Zoe McDonough was chosen as an alternate in the event someone is unable to attend. Congratulations!

Honor Society

Honor Society quick meeting at lunch tomorrow, Thursday, in the Choir room A-2.  Bring your lunch right away and we'll be done soon after the 15 min. bell.

Creek Club:

Come to a meeting at lunch this Thursday in M-2 to talk about an  upcoming outing. We will be doing research with the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Richardson Bay. It is an opportunity to work with real scientists about the invasive snail attacking our native oysters in the bay. All are welcome! 8th graders can get Y.E.S. hours for the outing. Hope to see you there!

Attention all Chess lovers....Back by popular demand, Miller Creek Middle School's 52 Annual Chess March Madness tournament is now accepting sign-ups. Come test your chess playing skills against other chess players. See Mr. Leipsic in room B5 at lunch to sign up for the competition. Brackets will be announced and tournament play will begin next week.
