Can Do! Education Foundation

The Can Do! Education Foundation is a community funded, non-profit organization.  We partner with families, teachers and local businesses to fill state funding gaps and provide financial resources to offer an enriched, well-rounded education for all students in the Miller Creek School District.

Each year Can Do! board members, volunteers and staff reach out to families and local businesses seeking financial contributions to help "bridge-the gap" cost, which is about $600 per student.  While donations are welcomed any time during the year, it really helps to meet our Annual Family Giving goal as early in the school year as possible.  It is critical to reach this goal: if we fall short, programs that rely on these funds may be at risk.

Please give as generously as you can.  Donations of any amount will help ensure that our children continue to receive an unparalleled education that keeps them inspired and healthy.

We need YOUR support to help the district restore positions & provide enrichment programs this fall. TAKE ACTION TODAY!

 

Letter From the President                                                                     

Dear Community Families,

As the outgoing and incoming Presidents of Can Do!, we wanted to reach out to you with our thoughts and plans for the path forward as we strive to successfully navigate this uncertain time.

For more than 15 years, Can Do!'s mission has always been to raise funds to provide enrichment programs for the Miller Creek School District. As you may have heard, given the context of this unprecedented time, Can Do! has made an initial commitment of funds representing cash-on-hand, which is a departure from previous years. This commitment does not represent what Can Do! hopes to raise from the community for the Miller Creek School District this year.

Therefore, in order to maximize our fundraising efforts, we are launching the 2020-2021 Family Giving Campaign today; we are asking for your support now.

We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone. However, our students need you now more than ever. Your contribution will go a long way to ensuring the success of our schools. Although we do not know the short and long term impacts of the current situation, we do know that the more prepared we are, the better off we will be. If you are wondering how you can help, donating to Can Do! is THE way to support our students and schools.
