Way to Go Panthers Week Two Completed!

Theme of the 2020-21 School Year

Everyday Superheroes Make us Stronger Together!

We are asking all panthers to identify what they can do to bring us closer together. What is their purpose? All Superheroes realize their purpose and then spend their life living out that purpose.

Call to Action

We are asking all Panthers to make a commitment to live out their purpose - one that will make us stronger together. Students should reflect on how they will positively impact our community, neighborhood, town, state or country. Identify their superpower and get to action!

Google Classroom

Parent surveys from the spring indicated a need for one consistent platform for communication.  As result, we will be shifting away from using School Loop this year and moving toward using Google Classroom as our Learning Management Platform. Please see this video, as it explains the features of Google Classroom from the parent’s perspective. Unlike School Loop, parents will not have access to students' grades through their parent portal. Parents will need to login as their child to access this information. This presents a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to view assignments, discuss and review the progress that students are making in each class. The partnership between parent and student will help to keep everyone informed as we navigate these unique and new paths!

Life Skill of the Month: Adaptability

This year in order to help students actualize their purpose/ superhero abilities we will focus on the above life skills. Please discuss adaptability with your Panther and how they should intentionally practice it.

Thank you for joining us for our Back to School Night!  If you missed it, you can view the recorded Zoom presentation here and to view the teachers video presentations, please click here

Due to health and safety guidelines our campus is not open at this time. If you need to make contact with us please call the main office. If coming to campus to pick up materials, please wear a face covering and observe 6 feet distancing.

Reopening Schools Update and Information

As we continue to plan for a safe reopening of schools, the Marin County Office of Education provides regular informational webinars that guide our team planning. Click HERE to watch the latest webinar on the governor's new tiered reporting system and how it informs the way we will safely open our schools to in-person instruction.

Counselors completed visiting all 7th and 8th-grade language arts classes this week and will begin visiting 6th-grade science classes next week. Students not only completed the counseling survey but discussed a very important topic, “How to help a friend". September is National Suicide Prevention and Recovery Month. This month, we’ll highlight important resources in the Panther Press and our counseling website for students and families if they’re worried about themselves or others. For any families that need support, please consider this resource.

Save the Date: Our first Counselor-Parent Workshop will be Thursday, September 10th at 8am on Zoom. We will be talking about calming strategies for you and your emerging teen.

If you'd like to request counseling support for your child, please reach out by email to your child's school counselor:
