Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year!

Greetings and welcome to Ms. Burrowes' 2018-2019 Website!

This is my fourth year with the Miller Creek Middle School community, and I am excited to welcome returning and new students alike.

Born and raised in Marin County, I have participated in the local theater community for over 20 years -both as a performer and director. Before becoming a teacher, I also was honored to have a career in the museum field, with a particular emphasis on historical museums.  I am delighted to join this special community and share my love for theater, history, and literature!

Please use this website as a resource for homework schedules, hand outs, and other pertinent information for our class. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Cheers to the coming year ahead!

CAN DO!

In 1993, the Dixie Children's Fund was founded as the education foundation for the Dixie School District.  In August 2010, the Dixie Children’s Fund changed its name to Can Do!.  Can Do! believes that our children are the future, and the mission of Can Do! is to raise funds to enrich the education of all Dixie School District students by providing them with the academic foundation to continue their education. Can Do! works in partnership with the District, site-based organizations and the community to give our children the best education possible.
